Naima and Shrey’s story is proof that sometimes, the strongest love stories begin with friendship. Best friends for over 12 years and together for the last 2.5, theirs wasn’t a dramatic, love-at-first-sight romance. In fact, both of them laugh about barely having a first impression of each other at all. But what they did have from the very beginning was ease — a friendship that felt natural, effortless, and comforting almost instantly.
Over the years, that bond slowly grew into something deeper. Built on honesty, endless conversations, shared memories, and the comfort of knowing someone completely, their relationship became rooted in the kind of connection that only comes from growing up alongside each other. For them, love was never about perfection or grand declarations — it was about friendship first.
Which is exactly why their story feels so special.
But while their love story began simply, the proposal was straight out of a Bollywood film. Knowing Naima had always wanted something dramatic and filmy, Shrey — despite calling himself the “least filmy person” — planned a private theatre proposal featuring a personalised movie based on their journey together. Emotional, thoughtful, and cinematic in every way, it became one of the most unforgettable chapters of their story.
Inspired by Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and the idea that “Pyaar dosti hai,” their wedding celebrations were designed to feel exactly like them — nostalgic, emotional, playful, dramatic, and full of warmth. From candid moments to cinematic storytelling, every celebration reflected not just a wedding, but the story of two best friends choosing each other forever.
