Vibhuti & Devet : From Best Friends to Forever at Oleander Farms, Karjat

It all began with a flight from Mumbai, a little airport chaos and a conversation that neither of them knew would change their lives. Vibhuti and Devet first met in July 2019 on their way to Duke University, and what started with banter slowly became a friendship filled with sports, music, travel and countless memories. Vibhuti may have been a little annoyed when Devet arrived late and overpacked, but after they finally got talking, she knew he was a “cool, smart guy.”

Their love story came with not one, but two proposals—beautifully contrasting, yet equally full of butterflies. Devet chose a golden evening by the Georgetown waterfront, while Vibhuti planned a cosy rainy-night dinner, hiding her surprise inside a fortune cookie. Two different moments, one very certain forever.

And then came their wedding at Oleander Farms—a day filled with all the things that make them them: warmth, laughter, emotion and a whole lot of fun. From the sweetest glances to the happiest celebrations, every moment felt like a reflection of two best friends finally getting to call each other forever.

Because, as Vibhuti and Devet say themselves, “we were friends first”—and perhaps that is the sweetest part of their story. A love built on understanding, admiration and the simple joy of never having a dull moment together.
