Manpreet & Vignesh: A Love Story at Jehan Numa Palace

Some love stories begin with a grand gesture. Manpreet and Vignesh’s began at an airport — with a suitcase, a helping hand and a conversation that neither of them expected.

Though the official story says they met in college, their real first meeting happened at Chennai airport, where Vignesh helped Manpreet with her luggage. As luck would have it, they were also on the same flight to Pune, giving them more time to talk. What came naturally that day eventually became a relationship built on laughter, friendship and an unwavering decision to make it work.

Their proposal was equally spontaneous. Vignesh had carried a ring with him while flying to Norway to meet Manpreet, initially planning a scenic drive and the perfect proposal spot. Instead, during an evening walk by a fjord, the moment simply felt right — and he asked her to marry him.

Years and changing circumstances later, their wedding at Jehan Numa Palace celebrates exactly what has carried them this far: giving each other space to grow, standing by one another through every change, and always finding their way back to each other.
