The Calmest Kind of Love — Wedding Celebrated in Jammu - Vahini & Chaitanya

Some love stories unfold quietly, beautifully over years of friendship, laughter and shared moments. Vahini and Chaitanya’s story is one of those rare, heartwarming journeys that began in a first-grade classroom and culminated in a heartfelt celebration in Jammu.

They first met as six-year-olds Chaitanya, the class clown Vahini, the one who borrowed a pencil and returned it ten years later. After years apart due to shuffled classes, fate brought them back together in the 8th grade. Casual chats in 9th turned into real conversations by 10th, and that’s when everything began to fall into place. A birthday invite without even sharing numbers led to Facebook chats that became the foundation of something real and lasting.

Over the next ten years, they didn’t just fall in love, they grew up with each other. Seven of those years were long-distance, but their bond only deepened. They shared inside jokes, supported each other through life’s transitions and built their relationship on patience, trust and deep understanding. There was no elaborate proposal. Just a mutual knowing that this was it. That a love like this didn’t need a grand gesture, only a quiet promise.

We had a truly wonderful time shooting Vahini & Chaitanya. There was an ease and warmth between them that made every frame feel honest and unforced. From the tender, emotional moments to their goofy banter and stolen glances, they gave us so much to work with.

Their comfort in front of the camera and more importantly, with each other, translated into some of the most heartfelt portraits we’ve captured. The light, the mood, the moments - everything just aligned. And Jammu, with its stunning backdrops and quiet charm, made the entire experience even more special.
